Ms. Woolever to study in Bangladesh

We are pleased to announce that SPP Art Teacher, Kate Woolever was one of five teachers selected from across the United States to participate in an exchange program through World Savvy and the US Department of State.

Five teachers and 30 students will travel to Bangladesh to study the environmental, social, economic and political impacts of climate change and to observe communities that have been affected by climate change.  Teachers and students will spend a month living with a host family and participating in research and service projects alongside a group of local Bangladeshi students.

We look forward to sharing more about her experience this winter!
