Spreading Some Holiday Cheer

care packages

English Teacher, Ms. Ostlund, involved St. Paul Prep students in donating and putting together Ziploc care packages of small, inexpensive items for homeless children and families staying at the People Serving People shelter. People Serving People houses many homeless children and adults each day of the year at 614 3rd Street in South Minneapolis. The families there are thrilled to receive these “care bags.” If you are interested in spreading some cheer this holiday season by helping out this program, any small items that fit in a 2 gallon Ziploc bag are welcomed! Here are a few ideas and more details from their website.
